BOTIA is an informational service. It reads declared food ingredients and connects them with published scientific, regulatory and transparency sources — WHO, EFSA, FDA, Codex Alimentarius and others. Its purpose is to make label information understandable. It does not sell food, endorse products, or certify anything.
Not medical or nutritional advice
Nothing on this website is medical, nutritional, dietary or professional advice. BOTIA does not diagnose, treat or assess individual health, and cannot determine whether a product is suitable for any particular person. For decisions about your health or diet, consult a qualified professional.
Not a certification body
BOTIA is not a certifying authority of any kind. It does not issue halal certification, organic certification, or any other seal. It reports what a label declares and what it leaves undeclared. Decisions based on religious, ethical or dietary criteria remain with the user and their own authorities.
Accuracy and limitations
Information is compiled from official sources and reviewed with care, but regulations, scientific opinions and product formulations change. BOTIA cannot guarantee that every entry reflects the most recent state of the evidence, nor that a specific product still contains what its label declared. Where evidence is contested or under review, BOTIA says so.
